WNBA 30th anniversary

I was tasked with designing a microsite exploring the history and evolution of the Women’s National Basketball Association for its 30th anniversary. We collaborated with the WNBA editorial team to design the custom experience over a 5-week sprint. The project also involved commissioning illustrations to bring the site to life. My role included establishing information architecture, wire framing, and designing the final mockups in Figma. I also developed a robust UI and component guide to guide the developer.

Sports Center My Wish landing page redesign

Every year, ESPN partners with the Make-a-Wish foundation to grant wishes for kids facing critical illnesses. This year for the 20th anniversary, I was tasked with redesigning the landing page ad adapting the 20th anniversary brand system into the page’s visual system. Additionally, I redesigned the archive of wishes to be a sortable database for readers to easily find wishes based on the year and sport. My role included establishing information architecture, wire framing, and designing the final mockups in Figma. I also developed a robust UI and component guide to guide the developer.

Tracing Shohei Ohtani’s rookie baseball card

This summer we partnered with ESPN’s MLB editorial team to design a custom storytelling experience tracing the value of Shohei Ohtani’s original rookie card. We used data visualization and compiled dozens of baseball cards to show how the baseball card market has exploded over the past decade. My role included establishing information architecture, wire framing, and designing the final mockups in Figma. I also developed a robust UI and component guide to guide the developer.
